OK, I am not a developer, or anything like that, so excuse the questions.

I am getting the message:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_connect() in /var/www/html/BLOG/index.php on line 93

So I checked that line, it is the connect function with host=localhost, db=peffisaur and password=hush

I edited user tables to make PW hush, then config.php to be hush.

It is running on redhat, I am assuming a problem with my php.ini file, but I am not sure, it is default, and everything looks fine.

Sounds like your php does not have the mysql module.

Type php -m and you will see that you probably don't have a module named mysql in the list.

Just grab the rpm for that module and install it. I assume there is an rpm for it. At least there is a deb in debian.
