When you are out walking - how easy is it not to walk in
the pace society has taught us to walk in? How easy is it not then to
miss the small beautiful things that surround us? How easy is it not
to miss the fact that right next to your feet, as you walk on
stressfully, has a small butterfly (a peacock butterfly) landed - its
wings so new and fragile, it lets them dry in the sun. So fragile that
when the weakest of winds touches them they shake in the wind like if
they might fall off.
And when you look at an ugly freeway with cars running back
and fourth with stressed people within - how easy is it then
just to turn your face away in disgust, missing the fact that, on the
other side of the road, small yellow flowers (Tussilago) are still
fighting for their existence, yellow in the sun, so small.
Even if we stress through our lives the beauty is still there
around us every second of our lives. We just don't see it.
